Summary:
The 363rd ISRW/363rd ISRG/363rd ISS currently has an opening for a Financial Management & Budget Analyst to work at Joint-Base Langley Eustis in Hampton, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to help the Air Combat Command Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Major Command. Applicants will organize and manage unit budgetary goals and objectives; forecast availability of existing and supplemental resources; and define actions required to support the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle actions in compliance with Department of Defense Financial Management Regulations (DoDFMR) 7000.14R and Air Force publications series 65, Financial Management and operational unit requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Execute funding obligation and expenditure management.
- Perform capital planning and investment strategy development.
- Develop workforce assessment, management methodology and weighted cost analysis.
- Perform time-constrained resource realignment recommendations in response to rapidly changing program and budgetary deadlines.
- Assist in researching and analyzing information and trends to determine unit financial management effectiveness, organizational needs and requirements.
- Keep the Unit Commander and Mission Support Director apprised of financial management developments.
- Assist in the development and administration of program-budget activities, schedules, and meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of demonstrated AF Financial Management senior expertise or a minimum of 15 years of AF Financial Management experience.
- 4 years of experience using the Commanders Resource Integration System (CRIS), Automated Business Services System (ABSS) and Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS).
- Must possess a current DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance single-scope background investigation.
- Knowledge of AFI 36-2406
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in area of expertise (e.g. Accounting, Business Admin) or have an Bachelor degree and 5 years of related experience for a total of 15 years.
- Previous Air Force writing experience.
- Excellent presentation skills, organization skills, analytic skills, problem solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Air Force ISR experience with Defense Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) Modernized Intelligence Database (MIDB), CORNERSTONE, and Mission Planning Order of Battle (MPOB); highly desired
