Position Summary:
The applicant will develop multi-discipline ISR products in response to Combatant Command, Air Component and AF DCGS stakeholder Analytical Lines of Operation (ALOE) requirements encompassing daily, weekly and monthly reports; disposition of forces tracking; and request for information (RFI) responses. Applicants will receive task assignments from senior analysts and use a mixture of structured analytical techniques to produce these products. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills (oral and written), demonstrated problem-solving experience and the capacity to work independently and part of a team to provide these products. Extensive familiarity with applicable DoD and IC directives, analytic tradecraft standards, and Analysis Exploitation Team (AET) reporting cycles is also required.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion certificate from a commercial, military, or US government all source analysis training course or a specialized intelligence career field (i.e., All-Source, Geospatial, Signals, or Human Intelligence Analyst).
- Conducts analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature. Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of the concepts involved in the specific functions outlined in the specified labor category description. Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
- Demonstrates ability to work semi-independently with oversight and direction.
- Demonstrates ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information.
- Demonstrates understanding of evaluating collected intelligence reporting, engaging with collection managers, and developing collection requirements.
- Required Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Required Education: Associate’s degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. An additional 2 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 5 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for an associate’s degree.
